Behaviour Principles Statement
We have a positive approach to all aspects of behaviour which is underpinned by our:
- Wellbeing curriculum
- Use of Jigsaw programme and materials
- Assemblies linked to Wellbeing curriculum
- High focus on staff developing positive relationships with children
- Clear and consistent routines in classrooms, around the school and in the wider
community - High expectations from staff about conduct in class and around the school

Our agreed whole school strategies include:
- Verbal praise
- Good looking, good listening, good sitting, good turn taking visual symbols (EYFS &
KS1 or as required) - Buddy Bench (Year 6 buddies)
- Team points (on Class Dojo)
- Golden Rules
- Golden Time
- Headteacher’s Award
- Celebration Assembly - "Star of the Week" awards
All children are part of a team and they collect points for their school team through their positive behavior. Our school teams are:
